Dave Hodge gave me an appreciation for Art I never knew I had. The incredible exposure to artistic method, concepts, techniques, gave me a basis for life long skills and appreciation of Art. And what wonderful things we got to do! How many middle schoolers got to cast metals using lost wax, create pottery, do photography, cast plaster, sculpt, and so much more? Critical thinking, critical eye, methodology, creative exercise, love and spark, all came to life in his classroom. And all these lessons followed me in life. I wanted to become a Photographer, and ended up in the Graphics field for 30 years, working in a Studio, a small Ad Agency, and in Print. Who knew that this special Man, and that classroom would play such a huge role in so many lives. Dave is beloved by so many.
